Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Skid Plate Set with Aluminium Arm Guards for CFMOTO X8 / CFORCE 800 / 820LE

The aluminium arm guard version of the underbody set for the CFMOTO X8, CFORCE 800 and 820LE.

The difference is the front suspension arms. On the standard set the arm guards are in the ordinary specification; here they are aluminium, which is the harder-wearing choice on the part of the machine that is dragged through undergrowth on every ride.

The arms sit low, wide and forward. They meet rocks the belly plate never sees and they take a constant scraping from brush that eventually wears any guard through. Aluminium extends the interval before that happens considerably.

The rest of the set is unchanged: alloy plate along the frame covering the engine case, gearbox and CVT housing, mounted on the regular frame points. This is a V1 — with CFMOTO logo, through official distributors.
