Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A radiator relocation kit for the CFMOTO X8, CFORCE 800 and 820LE, in black finish, moving the core up onto the front rack.

There are two relocation-only kits listed for these machines — this one and MP 0154 — and they do the same job. If you are choosing between them, take whichever is in stock; the outcome on the machine is the same.

What that outcome is: the radiator leaves the low front position where mud packs the fins and moves into clean air on the rack. Cooling stops depending on how recently you last hosed the front of the machine out.

The secondary benefit is access. A rack-mounted core can be inspected at a glance and cleaned in half a minute, which on a working machine matters more than the cooling figures.
