Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Blue over grey is the quietest scheme in the range and the most durable-looking. Neither colour dates, neither shows dust badly, and the combination reads as a considered choice rather than a default.

On an 800 the bodywork panels are large and flat, which is exactly where sun fading shows worst and where a fresh set of graphics changes the machine most visibly.

The film is high quality, the adhesive layer is reinforced, and the print carries additional lamination. Those three things decide whether a graphics set still looks right after two seasons or has faded and started peeling at the corners.

Vinyl is also a sacrificial layer. It is cheaper to replace a set of graphics after three hard seasons than to deal with plastic that has been sandblasted by three hard seasons.
