Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Competition Sport Rear Box for CFMOTO X8, X10, 800, 850XC and 1000

A 22-litre sport box for the big CFMOTO machines — X8, X10, 800, 850XC and 1000. It exists for one reason: to carry the minimum a rider needs during a race without adding the weight of a touring box.

Small volume is the point, not a compromise. Twenty-two litres holds a tool kit, spares and the equipment competition rules require, and the quad stays light where weight costs lap time.

The shape is streamlined so it does not disturb the aerodynamics of the machine, and stiffeners run through the shell to keep it rigid under racing loads. Rubber locks clamp the lid tight and the sealing rubber keeps humidity, dirt and dust out.

Will the Competition Sport box fit a Polaris Sportsman or a standard CFMOTO rack?

No. It is a model-specific box for the listed CFMOTO CFORCE Competition Sport platform. It will not fit a Polaris Sportsman and should not be used on a different CFMOTO rack without confirmed matching mounting points.

Will this CFMOTO Competition Sport rear box fit a Polaris Sportsman 1000 High Lifter?

No. This box is shaped and mounted for the listed CFMOTO X8/X10/800/850XC/1000 Competition Sport platform and is not a universal ATV box. A Polaris Sportsman High Lifter requires a Polaris-specific rear box.
