Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A full underbody set covering the CFMOTO U8W, UFORCE 500HO and UFORCE 800.

The W in U8W is the winch specification, and a winch changes how the machine is used rather than just what is bolted to it. A winch-equipped UTV goes into places it cannot drive out of unaided — which is to say, places where the underside is going to make contact with something.

The set covers that underside in aluminium: engine, transmission and fuel tank area, along the full length of the frame.

This is a V1 — with CFMOTO logo, supplied through official distributors. V2 is the same plate without it.
