Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

An aluminium underbody set for the two-seat CFMOTO X5HO, CFORCE 550 and 500HO LX.

A 2up machine is longer, and length is what puts the belly on the ground. The wheels clear a crest and the middle of the machine does not — a situation the driver cannot see and usually cannot avoid once committed.

The set covers the drivetrain along that middle section in aluminium alloy: engine case, gearbox and CVT housing. It mounts on the frame’s regular attachment points with nothing drilled.

This is a V1 version, meaning the plate carries the CFMOTO logo and is supplied through official distributors. V2 is the same plate without the badge.
