Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Additional Rear Box for CFMOTO CFORCE 850XC, X8 and X10

A 63-litre second box that mounts behind the main Tesseract rear box on the CFMOTO CFORCE 850XC, X8 and X10. The two are shaped to meet flush, so the pair reads as one unit rather than two boxes bolted near each other.

Its front wall does a second job: you can lean back against it at stops. On a long day that turns the rear of the quad into somewhere to sit properly rather than perch.

Two rubber locks are built into the body, and the mounting kit comes in the set. Fitting is quick and needs no fabrication — the box is made for this machine and this position.
