Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A front bumper for the large CFMOTO ATVs — X8 H.O., CFORCE 850, 850XC and X10 — in 32 mm steel tube with powder coating.

On an ATV this size the front end carries the radiator, the headlights and, on most examples, a winch. All three sit forward of the axle line and all three are directly exposed. A bumper is the only thing between them and whatever the machine drives into.

These machines are heavy, and weight matters in an impact. A 400 kg ATV meeting a stump at walking pace delivers a load that plastic bodywork simply passes on to whatever is behind it.

The bumper mounts on factory attachment points, so nothing is drilled and the fit is repeatable. Powder coating keeps the corrosion out once the surface is inevitably scraped.
