Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

This generation of the 800-class CFMOTO has been in service long enough that most surviving machines are working machines — farms, estates, forestry — rather than weekend toys. That is the strongest argument for a bumper: a working ATV meets obstacles every day, in poor light, driven by someone thinking about the job rather than the machine.

The bumper protects the radiator, the headlights and the front bodywork, and it does so with a structure tied into the frame rather than bolted to plastic.

It mounts on factory attachment points, so fitting takes tools most workshops already have and nothing on the machine is modified.
