Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

What are the warranty and returns terms?

Rear ATV Box for BRP Can-Am Outlander 570

A 105-litre rear box for the Can-Am Outlander 570 and its variants — XT, DPS and X MR. The rear rack was measured before the box was drawn, so it sits within the sides of the quad and leaves the rider's position alone.

It clamps on with U-shaped bolts. That detail is worth understanding: instead of relying on a specific hole pattern, the bolts grip the metal profile of the rack itself, which holds on corrugated ground and works on any rack built the same way.

A metal keyed lock holds the lid, and a gasket runs between lid and base against grime, dust and water. Ribbing through the walls keeps the shell rigid at 8 kg.

Will this rear box fit a 2021 Can-Am Outlander 570 MAX?

This box is listed for the compatible Outlander 450/570, XT/DPS and XMR 570 rack layouts, but MAX models can have a different rear-seat and rack arrangement. Please send a rear photo of the 2021 MAX before ordering so the mounting area can be confirmed.
