Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

The EURO4 underbody set for the two-seat CFMOTO X5HO, CFORCE 550 and 500HO LX.

Euro4 changed what sits under these machines. The exhaust run and the catalyst are in different positions from the earlier cars, and a plate cut for the old layout fouls them. Confirm which version your machine is before ordering — the two sets do not swap.

Aside from the cut-outs, the specification matches the standard set: aluminium alloy covering the engine case, gearbox and CVT housing along the frame, fixed to the regular attachment points.

On a long two-seat machine that coverage matters more than on a short one, because the middle of the frame is where a long ATV grounds.
