Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A front bumper for the two-seat CFMOTO X5HO, CFORCE 550 and 500HO LX, built from 32 mm steel tube with powder coating.

A 2up machine is longer and heavier than the single-seat version, and both of those work against the front end. Longer means less agile in tight ground; heavier means more energy in every contact that does happen.

The bumper puts a steel structure ahead of the radiator and headlights and ties it into the frame, so the load goes where the frame can take it rather than into the plastic.

Mounting is on factory attachment points, with nothing drilled and the ground clearance unchanged.
