Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

The front-rack version of the relocation kit for the two-seat CFMOTO X5HO, CFORCE 550 and 500HO LX.

Check this before ordering: this kit fits only machines whose front rack has a plastic cover. CFMOTO shipped these models with two different front racks and the mounting is not the same on both. If yours is the bare rack, the standard version MP 0514 is the one you need.

What it does is what all relocation kits do, and the reason is the same on every machine: the factory radiator sits low at the front, directly in the path of everything the wheels lift, and once the fins pack there is no airflow and no cooling.

A radiator connection kit is included in the package, so the hoses and fittings are covered rather than being a second purchase.
