A relocation kit for the two-seat CFMOTO X5HO, CFORCE 550 and 500HO LX, lifting the radiator out of the factory position and up onto the front rack. Mid-size machines are not spared this problem — if anything they suffer it sooner. A 550 has less cooling margin than an 850 to begin with, so it takes less fin blockage before the temperature starts climbing. And the 2up versions are the ones most likely to be working loaded, with a passenger or a rack full of gear, which is exactly when the engine is generating the most heat and has the least airflow to shed it with. Once the radiator is on the rack it is out of the spray and in plain sight. Cleaning becomes a thirty-second job with a hose instead of a strip-down. SKU: MP 0514 Loaded two-up riding in wet ground, the hottest and least ventilated way these machines get used. Mud and water work, where the factory core fills quickly and stays full. Slow towing and yard work, where there is no ram air and the fan is doing all of it. Fits the CFMOTO X5HO, CFORCE 550 and CFORCE 500HO LX 2up. Machines with a plastic-covered front rack need the front-rack version MP 0387 instead — check yours before ordering. Also for these machines: skid plate set.
