Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A full underbody set for the CFMOTO Z8 and ZFORCE 800 side-by-sides.

A buggy underside is a different problem from an ATV’s. There is more of it, it is flatter, and it sits closer to the ground — a side-by-side is designed to be driven over terrain rather than picked through it, which means sustained contact rather than the occasional strike.

That is why the UTV sets are considerably larger and heavier than the ATV ones. There is simply more area to cover, and the areas that matter include the fuel tank and the transmission as well as the engine.

It is a V1 version — the plate carries the CFMOTO logo and is supplied through official distributors. V2 is the same set without the badge.
