Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A full underbody set for the CFMOTO ZFORCE 500HO and 800 Trail.

The Trail versions are the narrower ZFORCEs, built for forest tracks rather than open ground. That changes what the underside meets: not sand and rock at speed, but roots, stumps and the raised centre of a rutted track, hit slowly and repeatedly.

Slow repeated contact is harder on a plate than it sounds. Speed lets a machine skip across an obstacle; at walking pace it settles onto it with its full weight, which is when plates deform and mounting bolts shear.

The set covers the underside in aluminium along its length, mounted on the frame’s regular attachment points with nothing drilled.
