Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Tesseract Sand Tracks, Short — Set of 2

A pair of 750 mm recovery tracks in sturdy plastic. Slide one under a spinning wheel and the tyre has something to bite on instead of digging itself deeper into sand, snow, swamp or soft soil.

The short version exists for one reason: it fits on the machine. At 750 mm a pair straps to a rack or a box without overhanging, so the tracks are actually with you when the ground turns bad — which is more than can be said for recovery gear left in the truck.

For most ATV recoveries this length is enough. They also serve as bridging plates across a narrow ditch.

They nest one inside another for storage and tie down to any flat surface.

Short or Long?

Both sets contain two pieces; the difference is length:

Short, 750 mm — this set. Carries on the machine, suits most ATV recoveries.
Long, 1210 mm — more track under the wheel, better for heavy machines and for bridging wider gaps.

Same width and thickness in both, so a short pair and a long pair nest and travel together.

Compatibility

Universal — any vehicle. Nothing is fitted to the machine, so there is nothing to match.
