Tesseract Sand Tracks, Long — Set of 2

A pair of 1210 mm recovery tracks in sturdy plastic. When a wheel is spinning in sand, snow, swamp or soft ground, the track goes under it and gives the tyre something solid to bite.

The long version is the one to buy if you are recovering a heavier machine or crossing a longer soft section — more track under the wheel means more chances for it to find grip before it runs off the end.

They also work as bridging plates over a narrow ditch, which is a use most owners discover the first time they need it.

Plastic is the deliberate choice: strong enough to carry a machine, light enough that one person handles a pair. They nest one inside another for storage and fasten to any flat surface with ties.

Use Cases

Self-recovery when riding alone. A winch needs an anchor point; tracks need nothing but the ground, which is why they work in open sand and open snowfield where a winch does not.

Group rides, where one pair of tracks moves down the line and gets everyone through the same bad section.

Ditch crossings on farm and forestry tracks — laid across, the plates carry the wheel over a gap that would otherwise mean a long detour.

Long or Short?

The tracks come in two lengths and both hold two pieces per set:

• Long, 1210 mm — this set. More track under the wheel, better for heavy machines and for bridging.
• Short, 750 mm — lighter, easier to carry on the machine, enough for most ATV recoveries.

Both are the same width and thickness, so a long pair and a short pair nest together and can be carried as one bundle.

Compatibility

Universal — any vehicle. Tracks are not fitted to the machine, they go under the wheel, so there is nothing to match.
