Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Tesseract 10-Litre Expedition Canister

The middle size in the Tesseract canister family, and for most riders the one that makes sense. Ten litres is roughly a full extra tank, and a full can still weighs about 9 kg — light enough to lift onto a rack and pour without help.

The shape is classic in proportion but harder-edged in execution. Relief surfaces and sharp edges add rigidity to the walls rather than merely styling them, and the result suits current machines instead of looking like a workshop leftover.

It takes BASIC quick-release fasteners, supplied with the can, so it mounts on a box lid or a rack and comes off without tools. Filler spout and locking ring are included. Empty weight is 1.8 kg.
