Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

20-Litre Expedition Canister for CFMOTO

A 20-litre expedition canister set up for CFMOTO machines. This is the size you carry when the route simply has no fuel on it — a full second tank, in a container built to live on a vehicle rather than in a shed.

The proportions do the work: 875 mm long and 110 mm thick. Rather than standing tall and moving the centre of gravity up, it lies flat along a rack or a bed side and keeps the weight low, which on a loaded machine is felt in every corner.

Relief surfaces and sharp edges are moulded into the walls to add rigidity — full, this holds around 15 kg, and flat panels would flex. It mounts on BASIC quick-release fasteners and comes with a filler spout and locking ring. Empty weight is 3 kg.
