Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

This 15 liters jerry-can is developed specifically for Polaris RZR 1000 storage box. The shape of the jerry-can follows the contour of the box lid, ensuring a tight joint between these items. The attached jerry-can does not obstruct the box lid opening.

It mounts easily and quickly using the Basic quick-release fasteners. This jerry-can is made of durable high density polyethylene, which enables it to withstand adverse weather conditions. It is perfect for use during expeditions, trips to remote places or for any other off-road journeys.

Does the RZR 1000 fuel can include the mount that holds it to the box?

No. The can is supplied with its filler spout, cap and retaining ring. The Basic quick-release mount is a separate item and must be ordered alongside it. The can holds 15 litres.
