Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Fender Flares for CFMOTO CF500-2A

Arch extenders for the CFMOTO CF500-2A, the two-seat version of the CF500. Moulded from flexible, frost-resistant, impact-resistant plastic that repeats the arch of the machine exactly.

The CF500 is one of the older machines in the CFMOTO line and one of the most widely used — a straightforward utility ATV that ends up doing farm work, estate work and everything in between. Its arches were drawn to the standards of the time, which is to say short.

On the 2A that matters more than on the single-seat version, because the second seat puts a passenger directly over the rear wheel.

The flares fasten on clips, drilled in place. All hardware is supplied, nothing original is cut, and the fit follows the arch closely enough to look factory.
