Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Fender Flares for CFMOTO CF500-A

Arch extenders for the single-seat CFMOTO CF500-A, in flexible, frost-resistant, impact-resistant plastic shaped to the machine’s own arch.

The CF500-A is a plain, hard-working ATV, and the honest reason to fit flares to one is that the standard arches leave the rider’s legs and the machine’s side panels exposed to everything the front wheels find.

This is not a subtle improvement. On wet ground the difference between covered and uncovered arches is visible before the end of the first field.

They fasten on clips, drilled in place, with hardware supplied. The flexible compound takes strikes that would chip rigid plastic, and it keeps doing so in cold weather when a cheaper flare would already have cracked.
