Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

Skid Plate Set for CFMOTO CF500-2A

An underbody set for the two-seat CFMOTO CF500-2A, mounting in the frame’s regular locations.

The 2A carries a passenger, and a loaded machine sits lower. Everything under the frame gets closer to the ground exactly when the machine is heaviest — which is when grounding does the most damage.

The mounting uses a reduced number of attachment points, so fitting is quicker and there is less to work loose over a season of vibration.

Holes are provided for a snow blade transition platform. On a CF500 that is a genuinely practical detail: these machines do winter work, and a skid plate that blocks the blade mount is a skid plate that gets removed every November.
