Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A full underbody set for the CFMOTO UFORCE 1000 (U10 EPS), the largest utility side-by-side in the CFMOTO range.

Size is the whole argument. A U10 is a heavy machine with a large flat underside and a cargo bed that gets filled. Every kilogram in that bed lowers the belly and increases the force behind any contact the underside makes.

The set covers the length of the frame in aluminium — engine, transmission and fuel tank area — and mounts on the frame’s regular attachment points with nothing drilled.

On a machine at this price point the arithmetic is not subtle. A holed transmission case on a U10 costs several times what the plate does, and it happens on ground the machine was bought to cross.
