Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A rear bumper for the CFMOTO UFORCE 1000 (U10 EPS), in steel tube with powder coating, shaped to the back of the machine.

The rear of a utility side-by-side is its business end: the cargo bed, the tow hitch, the tailgate. It is also the end the driver cannot see, and it spends its life being reversed towards loading docks, trailers and stacks of material.

The bumper gives that end a steel edge. Contacts that would crack a tailgate corner or break a light housing land on tube instead.

It bolts to the factory attachment points and is shaped to leave the cargo bed and tailgate operating normally — a rear bumper that stops the tailgate dropping is a bumper that comes off again within a month.
