Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Bed Extender for CFMOTO UFORCE 1000

A bed extender that increases the cargo area of the CFMOTO UFORCE 1000 by up to 70 per cent. Made from steel tube with black powder coating.

The number is the headline, but the useful part is that the extender has a quick-release fastener with five positions. Folded out over the tailgate it extends the bed. Set inside it becomes a bed divider, which stops a half-load sliding around on a machine that spends its life on slopes.

The five positions mean the divider can be set where the load actually is rather than where the designer guessed it would be.

It also gives you something to strap to. Fuel cans, a gun case, tools — anything that needs securing gets a steel frame to attach to instead of being lashed to the bed lip and hoping.
