Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

CVT Clutch Remover for CFMOTO X8 / CFORCE 800 / 820LE

A puller tool for removing the CVT clutch on the CFMOTO X8, CFORCE 800 and 820LE. Finished in RAL 9005 textured black.

The CVT clutch is a taper fit on the crankshaft and it is not coming off with a hammer, a screwdriver or optimism. It needs the correct puller, threaded into the clutch, applying axial force squarely. Anything else damages either the clutch or the crank — both of which cost considerably more than the tool.

The reason to own one rather than borrow one is that the CVT belt is a consumable. On a machine ridden in mud and water the belt is a service item, and getting to it means getting the clutch off.

This puller is machine-specific. It fits the X8, CFORCE 800 and 820LE and nothing else — CVT threads are not standard across manufacturers or even across a manufacturer’s range.
