The Sportsman 850 High Lifter spends its life in water and soft ground, and storage on it has to solve two problems at once: stay sealed, and stay out of the way. This 50-litre rear box is shaped to the rack of that machine, with the backrest accounted for, so nothing has to be unbolted before it fits. Height is deliberately low. On a quad ridden standing, a tall box behind the seat fights the rider every time they shift back; this one keeps its bulk inside the outline of the machine and leaves room to move. Rather than flat panels, the shell uses ribbed geometry — the ribs carry the load, which is how the box stays strong at 8 kg. The lid closes onto rubber sealing rated for extreme use. SKU: 010_063_00 Mud riding is hard on anything carried loose. Winch strap, shackles, a tool roll, spare gloves and a dry layer go in here and come out in the same condition, which is not true of a pack strapped to the rack. The same 50 litres covers ordinary work on the property — fencing tools, a chain, a flask — with the difference that it locks and the contents stay clean. Fits the Polaris Sportsman High Lifter 850, and the same box also covers the High Lifter 1000 and Sportsman High Lifter 1000. Do not confuse the variants. High Lifter and standard Sportsman are different machines with different rear racks, and each is sold in 1000 and 850. No. The box includes its quick-release mounts and keyed locks. Matching fuel cans are optional accessories and must be ordered separately.

This low-profile box is designed specifically for the Sportsman 850 High Lifter rear-rack layout. A standard 2016 Sportsman 850/SP can have a different rack, so it is not a confirmed direct fit without comparing the mounting pattern.
Does the Sportsman 850 High Lifter rear box include two fuel cans?
No. The rear box is sold as the box with its specified mounting and locking hardware; the compatible fuel can is an optional accessory. Fuel cans must be added separately unless a bundle explicitly includes them.
