Rear Cargo Box for Polaris Sportsman High Lifter 1000

A 50-litre rear box for the Polaris Sportsman High Lifter 1000. The High Lifter is built for mud and water, and the box was designed around that: it accounts for the shape of the rear rack and for the backrest, and it keeps a low profile so nothing sits high on the machine.

It stays inside the outer dimensions of the quad, which on a machine you ride standing and leaning matters more than raw volume. You can move and shift your weight without the box getting in the way.

The shell has a complex ribbed geometry rather than flat walls. That is structural, not decorative — the ribs are what give a light box its strength. The lid seals on rubber against grime, dust and water in extreme conditions.

Use Cases

On a High Lifter the priority is keeping things dry when the machine is up to its axles in water. Recovery gear, a tool roll, dry clothes and a phone all end up in here rather than in a pack on your back.

Up to two 5-litre jerry cans mount alongside, which is worth having when the day runs longer than planned and the nearest fuel is a long way out.

Compatibility

Fits the Polaris High Lifter 1000, the Sportsman High Lifter 1000 and the Sportsman High Lifter 850. It mounts to the standard rear rack and works with the backrest in place.

The standard Sportsman takes a different box. High Lifter and standard Sportsman are separate variants, and both are sold as 1000 and 850 — so the engine size alone will not tell you which you need. For the standard machines see the 120-litre box for the Sportsman XP 1000 and 850.
