Rear Cargo Box for Polaris Sportsman XP 1000

A 120-litre rear box built to the rack of the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000. It follows the shape of the platform rather than sitting on top of it, staying inside the width of the quad so the rider's space is unchanged.

The shell carries ribbing moulded into the walls. On a box this long that is what stops the sides flexing when it is loaded, and it does the work that thicker, heavier walls would otherwise have to do. Empty weight is 8.8 kg.

Fitting takes under thirty seconds. Four fasteners drop into the designated holes and tighten finger tight — no tools, no drilling, and the rack is clear again just as fast.

With the 15-litre jerry can shaped to the lid and the front rack, the pair extends range on routes where fuel is scarce. Hunters and work crews use the same combination for a different reason: everything is in one place and nothing is strapped to the outside.

Compatibility

Fits the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000, the XP 1000 S and the Sportsman 850. It mounts to the standard rear luggage rack with no modification to the machine.

This is the box for the standard Sportsman, not for the High Lifter. The High Lifter is a different variant with a different rear rack, and it exists in both 1000 and 850 — those machines take the 50-litre High Lifter box instead. Check which variant you have before ordering; the engine size alone does not tell you.
