Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Skid Plate Set for CFMOTO X6

An aluminium underbody set for the CFMOTO X6, fixed to the frame’s regular attachment points.

The X6 sits in the middle of the range: enough capability to be taken somewhere difficult, not so much money invested that owners treat it carefully. That combination is exactly what puts an engine case on a rock.

The set covers the drivetrain along the length of the frame — engine case, gearbox and CVT housing — in aluminium alloy chosen so the protection does not cost ground clearance.

It is a V1, which in this range means the plate carries the CFMOTO logo and is supplied through official distributors. V2 is identical without the badge.
