Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

These cans ran the full Dakar route on the support vehicles and came back without a single complaint. Air temperature on that route reached 53 °C. Plastic fuel containers fail in heat — they soften, they weep at the seams, the caps stop sealing. These did not.

That is the whole case for this can. Five litres is an ordinary size; surviving several thousand kilometres of desert on a rally support truck is not.

A plug and a pouring spout come in the set, and mounting hardware is included so the can can be secured properly rather than tied down.
