Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Fender Flares for CFMOTO X8 / CFORCE 800 / 820LE

Arch extenders for the CFMOTO X8, CFORCE 800 and 820LE, in flexible, frost-resistant, impact-resistant plastic shaped to the arch of the machine.

This generation of the 800-class CFMOTO has been in service long enough that most examples have real mileage behind them, and the lower edge of the factory fender is usually where it shows. Stone damage accumulates there and nowhere else.

Flares cover exactly that edge. They stop further damage to a panel that is expensive to replace, and they keep the spray off the rider at the same time.

They mount on clips, drilled in place, with hardware supplied. The flexible compound absorbs the strikes that would chip a rigid part, and the frost resistance keeps it doing so in winter.
