Every detail of the rear rack was taken into account, so the box fits the tunnel and does not stick out past the sides of the snowmobile. A high-quality metal keyed lock keeps the lid closed, and a gasket between lid and base keeps out snow, grime and water, which matters when the box spends the day in spray and drift. Ribbing across the shell adds strength and stiffness without the weight of heavier boxes: it weighs 5.65 kg. The compact 550 × 550 mm footprint keeps the box inside the width of the sled.
