The canister is not included and must be purchased separately.
Additionally, to install the canister on the trunk, you will need a separate mount for the canister.

Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Cargo Box for BRP Ski-Doo Expedition — 115 L

A 115-litre rear box drawn around the BRP Expedition tunnel. The rear rack was measured in detail, so the box sits in the tunnel and does not protrude past the sides of the machine — which matters on a snowmobile that spends its time between trees.

Security is a metal keyed lock rather than a rubber catch, and a gasket seal between lid and base keeps grime, dust and water out in conditions where all three are constant.

The box is ribbed, which is why it is stronger than plainer boxes of the same weight. At 10 kg it carries 115 litres without adding meaningful mass to the back of the machine.

It covers a wide slice of the BRP range — Expedition in most of its variants plus the Lynx Commander and Ranger.
