Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Arctic Cat Bearcat Snowmobile Cargo Box — 70 L

A 70-litre cargo box for the Arctic Cat Bearcat, moulded from high-quality waterproof polyethylene.

Snowmobiles have improved enormously at coping with weather and terrain. Storage is the part that has not moved — a utility machine still leaves you strapping things to the tunnel and hoping.

The design detail that matters in winter is the rubberised locks. Metal catches freeze shut; rubber ones do not, and a box you cannot open at −25 °C with gloves on is a box you stop using.

A flip-top lid gives access without unclipping anything, and there is room inside for fuel cans of several sizes alongside your gear. Plastic rear reflectors are fitted.

Empty weight is 5.9 kg, and installation or removal takes a couple of minutes with no tools at all.
