Is the canister included?

The canister is not included and must be purchased separately.
Additionally, to install the canister on the trunk, you will need a separate mount for the canister.
Gas cans are available as an optional purchase.

Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

What are the warranty and returns terms?

Snowmobile Cargo Box GKA No 6 for Yamaha Viking Professional

A cargo box for the Yamaha Viking Professional, and a full copy of the original Yamaha box — same shape, same fit on the machine, at a fraction of the price of the branded part.

That is the whole proposition. If you have lost or broken the original, or bought a machine without one, this replaces it exactly rather than approximately.

It is moulded in frost-proof reinforced polyethylene and closed by rubberised locks that cannot pack with snow or freeze shut. Usable volume is 65 litres inside an 80-litre external envelope — enough for two helmets.

The lid carries a flat mounting area for GKA fuel cans in 4 and 5 litre sizes, using the BASIC fastener.

Supplied with two rubberised locks, two yellow reflectors and a sling installation set. Weight is 6.5 kg.
