Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A 140-litre rear box covering the BRP Ski-Doo Expedition together with the Lynx Commander and Ranger — the biggest storage option we list for these machines.

It is cut for the rack rather than adapted to it, so the fit is flush and the box does not spoil the line of the machine. Quick-release fasteners make installation effortless.

Closure is by metal locks over a durable rubber seal, which keeps dirt, dust and water out in the conditions these machines are actually used in.

The lid is the part people notice. Folded out it becomes a table with cup slots — a small thing until the first time you stop for food at −25 °C and there is nowhere to put a flask that will not tip over.

A ribbed structure keeps the weight at 11 kg for 140 litres.
