Is the canister included?

The canister is not included and must be purchased separately.
Additionally, to install the canister on the trunk, you will need a separate mount for the canister.
Gas cans are available as an optional purchase.

Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

What are the warranty and returns terms?

GKA S 302 — Smart Series Rear ATV Box, 85 Litres

The S 302 is the Smart series take on the R 302 — GKA's lightweight, budget line — and the numbers make the trade clear: 85 litres at 5.9 kg, against the R 302's 80 litres at 8.4 kg. It is both roomier and two and a half kilos lighter.

What you give up is the hardware. The lid is held by rubber locks rather than metal locks with keys, and the backrest that comes with the R 302 is not part of this set. Everything else — the shape, the U-bracket mounting, the sealed lid — is the same idea at a lower price.

Sealant rubber runs the upper cover against water, and two red reflectors are fitted at the rear.

Use Cases

This is the box for a machine that stays with you: day rides, work on your own ground, trips where the quad is never out of sight. Eighty-five litres of dry, contained space for the least weight and the least money.

The low weight is worth more than it sounds on smaller machines, where nearly three kilos off the rear rack is noticeable in how the quad turns.

Compatibility

Universal, through the adjustable U-form mounting set — the same fitment as the rest of the GKA range.

If the quad gets left unattended, choose the R 302 instead: same shape, metal locks with keys, and a backrest in the set.
