Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

7-Litre Gas Can for the Hisun Tactic 1000 Box

A 7-litre can shaped to the contour of the Tesseract box on the Hisun Tactic 1000. One can goes on each side of the rear box, so a pair adds 14 litres — enough to turn a day ride into a two-day one.

Loaded this way the box does not upset the machine's balance: the weight sits low and split evenly, and the Hisun still manoeuvres through complicated ground the way it does empty.

Mounting is by Basic quick-release fastener, easy and secure. Each can has a handle, so a full one is carried rather than wrestled. The shell is robust high-density plastic, resistant to significant temperature change. Empty weight is 1.9 kg.
