Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

Rear Cargo Box for TGB Blade 650 to 1000

A 125-litre rear box covering the TGB Blade from the 650 up to the 1000. It seats on the back rack and fixes with butterfly screws supplied in the kit, so fitting needs no tools at all.

Fuel goes on the sides rather than the lid: two 5-litre canisters mount either side of the box. That keeps the top clear and puts the extra weight low, which is the better place for it on a machine this size.

Two reflectors are included — a small thing, but it means the box does not blank out the rear of the quad on a road section at dusk. Metal locks with a key hold the lid, and a sealing rubber band runs the full edge against moisture, dirt and dust.

With 125 litres in the box and ten litres of fuel on the sides, the Blade becomes a machine for long routes rather than day loops. Camping kit, tools, food and water all travel dry and locked.

For work the same setup carries a full tool load with fuel for a chainsaw or generator, without anything strapped down on top.

Compatibility

Fits the TGB Blade 650 through to the 1000. It mounts on the standard rear rack.

The box for the Blade 1000 LT EPS is a separate fitting for that specific machine.
