The canister is not included and must be purchased separately.
Additionally, to install the canister on the trunk, you will need a separate mount for the canister.

Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

GKA R 301 — Universal Rear ATV Box, 80 Litres

The R 301 is the plain, light end of the GKA range: 80 litres, 8.25 kg, no backrest, nothing you are not going to use. If the job is to get gear off the rack and into something sealed and locked, this is the model that does it for the least weight.

It seals with a D-profile rubber gasket — a hollow section that compresses along the whole lid rather than a flat strip that only meets it where the catches pull tight. The shell is first-grade imported high-density polyethylene.

Mounting is the universal adjustable U-bracket set, which is why this box goes onto almost any machine rather than one model. Two red reflectors are fitted at the rear.

Use Cases

Long trips and hard ground, where the box has to seal and hold and nothing else matters. Eighty litres covers a day's kit for two or a working tool load.

It also suits family riding, where the box is mostly there to keep everyone's things dry and locked while the machine goes wherever it is pointed.
