The S 304 is the Smart series version of the R 304, GKA's best-selling rear box. Smart is the lightweight, budget line. It keeps the shape that made the original popular — a developed take on the BRP G1 form — and reaches the lower price by simplifying the fittings. The result is a box of 75 litres at 7.95 kg that mounts on the same universal adjustable U-bracket set, so it goes onto essentially any machine rather than one model. The lid carries rubber sealant against water, and the shell is first-grade imported high-density plastic. What it does not have is the metal locks with keys of the R 304 — that is the main thing to weigh up before choosing between them. SKU: S-304 Long trips, hard ground and family riding — the same uses as the R 304, with the same shell doing the work. Seventy-five litres covers a day out or a working tool load. Worth thinking about before you order: if the quad is regularly left where you cannot see it, the keyed version is the one to have. Universal, through the adjustable U-bracket set.
