The canister is not included and must be purchased separately.
Additionally, to install the canister on the trunk, you will need a separate mount for the canister.

Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

The 28-litre canister that completes the GKA expedition line — five sealed cases and this, built to the same standards and designed to travel with them.

Twenty-eight litres is a serious quantity. On most machines it is more fuel than the tank holds, which changes an expedition from a loop back to the last filling station into a route that goes where you want it to.

It is not only a fuel container. The same canister carries water, which on a long trip in dry country is the more valuable of the two.

The point of buying it alongside the cases rather than separately is that the line is designed to travel as one load. A mixed stack of cases and the canister packs into a trailer or a UTV bed as a block, not as a collection of things that need lashing to each other.
