The canister is not included and must be purchased separately.
Additionally, to install the canister on the trunk, you will need a separate mount for the canister.
Gas cans are available as an optional purchase.

Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

The 8-liter jerry can is designed for installation on the BRP CAN AM OUTLANDER MAX 850-1000 XT-P, DPS, LTD ATV BOX. Its shape follows the contour of the trunk’s sides, ensuring a precise and tight fit. The installed canister does not interfere with the opening of the ATV BOX lid.

Thanks to Basic quick-release fasteners, the jerry can can be attached in less than a minute. It is made of wear-resistant high-density plastic, resistant to significant temperature changes, making it ideal for off-road trips and expeditions to remote areas.

For extended autonomy, you can install two jerry cans on one trunk, adding 16 liters of extra fuel.
