The Touring version is the two-seat 600, and that changes the calculation slightly. A machine carrying a passenger is heavier, brakes later and is less willing to be steered around something at the last moment. The front end meets more obstacles as a direct consequence.

Steel tube absorbs those meetings and passes the load into the frame rather than into the radiator core. The powder coating deals with what happens after the finish is scraped, which on a working machine is the first month.

It bolts onto the factory attachment points. No drilling, and the machine keeps its approach angle and ground clearance.
