The canister is not included and must be purchased separately.
Additionally, to install the canister on the trunk, you will need a separate mount for the canister.
Gas cans are available as an optional purchase.

Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

What are the warranty and returns terms?

Extra Rear Box with Backrest for CFMOTO CFORCE 600 Basic

A 50-litre second box that joins onto the main Tesseract rear box on the CFMOTO CFORCE 600 Basic. Its wall meets the main box directly, so the two read as one piece rather than two separate cases sharing a rack.

The part that changes the machine is the eco leather backrest built into the structure. A CFORCE with this fitted gives a passenger something proper to lean against, which turns a rack into a seat and a day ride into something bearable for two.

Fifty litres is the right size for the things that should not be buried in the main load — tools, spares, a first-aid kit. Two rubber locks are built into the body, and the mounting kit is supplied.

Use Cases

Riding two-up is the obvious case. Without a backrest the passenger holds on for the whole trip; with one they can sit back, and the distance you can comfortably cover roughly doubles.

Alone, the second box does the sorting job: tools in one case, clothing and food in the other, so opening the main box does not mean unpacking it.

Compatibility

Made for the CFMOTO CFORCE 600 Basic, mounted together with the Tesseract main rear box.

If you do not have the main box yet, start with the 115-litre rear box — this one attaches to it and is not a standalone fitting.
