Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Most items mount to factory points using the included hardware and basic hand tools. Drilling is not required unless explicitly stated on the product page.

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

How much weight can I carry?

Please follow the manufacturer’s rated load for your front/rear rack or tunnel. Internal volume is listed on the product page; distribute weight evenly and secure the load.

What materials is it made of? Will it handle low temperatures?

Boxes and canisters are typically made of high-strength, UV- and frost-resistant polyethylene (model-dependent). Hardware is galvanized or stainless steel. Operating range suits most climates; avoid open-flame heat sources and harsh solvents.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Most rear solutions are designed to stay within vehicle dimensions and not interfere with a passenger. Always check product photos and dimensions; on some models repositioning of handholds/backrests may be required.

A 115-litre rear box for the CFMOTO CFORCE 600 Basic. It sits on the luggage rack without reaching past the sides of the quad and without crowding a passenger, which on a machine this size is the difference between a box you keep fitted and one you take off.

Capacity at this level covers helmets — the usual measure — plus the rest of what a day out needs. The lid closes onto sealing rubber, so humidity, dirt and dust stay outside in the toughest conditions.

The shell is not flat-walled. Stiffeners and a complex moulded geometry carry the load, which is what lets a box of this volume stay rigid, and it gives the machine a harder-edged look at the same time.
