Do I need tools or drilling to install?

Is it weather-resistant / waterproof?

Products are designed to be weather-resistant for normal riding conditions. Lids use perimeter seals (where applicable) to help protect contents from rain, snow and dust. Not intended for submersion or pressure-washer jets directed at the seals.

Can I use this together with a passenger seat or backrest?

Riding solo, the passenger seat of a Can-Am Outlander Gen 3 is empty space. This 10-litre jerry can takes its place and turns it into range.

It fits the Outlander 850 and 1000R in XT, XT-P, DPS and LTD trims, including MAX models (2025+), and it works on versions with Smart-Shox adaptive suspension. The can sits low in the base of the ATV, so it does not move the centre of gravity or upset weight distribution.

The shell is wear-resistant high-density polyethylene with rounded corners, safe if a knee or leg touches it. A dedicated mounting plate and a Basic mount hold it in the seat position, and a handle makes it easy to lift out for refuelling.
